About Ming Garden

Located at 1804 Sangamon Dr, Champaign, IL 61821, Ming Garden operates as a chinese restaurant serving Champaign in Illinois. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is 11 am–9 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Ming Garden at (217) 352-0056; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. They serve up a very generous amount of food for a single order. I’m a vegetarian and they have a very nice selection of fresh veggies in teriyaki sauce that is enough for two meals. Service is prompt and efficient. Don’t be discouraged by the dingy foyer etc…the food is good and plentiful. Friendly service.

Felt like a south side walk up type place, you can tell the dad handed me the food while the kid was playing Roblox behind the counter. Portions are solid.

First time there. Last time there. Vegetable Egg rolls no veggies just cabbage. Change the name to Cabbage rolls. Too much dough. Crabrangoon hardly any filling in them.

The food was really good! You won't beat it for the price, and I will definitely be going again! We got the Veggie Lo Mein, Kung Pow chicken, and the wonton soup with a side of fried rice. The order only took 10 minutes and everything was fresh!

My first time here and they did a good job on my vegetable lo mein. I had to use Google Translate to get my order done 😁 but πŸ‘.
